We are Mike and Lisa of Goad Country!

We love camping! 

Why?

Its a chance to get back to nature, go hiking, swimming, spending time with family & friends but most of all a chance to see new places or revisit old ones. Mike loves to practice his photography and is learning video work. I love the exercise, connecting with nature, and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the urban life. 

Our Journey:

Our inspiration for this site was a way to share our experiences and things we learned with you. We want to give you honest reviews of the campgrounds, sites and activities so you can plan your family adventures. We also felt there was a lack of footage of what campgrounds are really like, sometimes you miss the good stuff and sometimes you can't really anticipate the challenges of others. And finally we want to encourage you to. make memories! Go places! Have fun! Make your next chapter!  

Our love for camping came about on our honeymoon. We decided to rent an RV and tour the long eastern coast of the US. Lisa loves lighthouses and we were endeavored with visiting each one down the coast. (We had seen most of them). 

Now after 15 years of being in Atlanta, Georgia, two kids, and a ton of adventures we decided to share it with you all.

Join us on our journey where we share Mike's love of photography, my love of nature and our couples experiences on the road as weekend warriors.
